Methylated B Vitamins

Methylated B vitamins are the active, pre-converted forms of folate, B12 and B6 — 5-MTHF, methylcobalamin and P-5-P. Unlike folic acid, cyanocobalamin and pyridoxine, they don't need the MTHFR enzyme to convert them before your body can use them.

If you carry an MTHFR gene variant, that conversion step is impaired — which is why standard B-complex supplements often make no difference. Every formula below uses methylated B vitamins only.
